The 7:15 entry is way over the top. I can see a non-production version maybe doing the other time that was mentioned, 7:35, but 7:15 is unreal. But, hey, maybe it had CUPs on?

AND the weather conditions were perfect, AND the Nissan driver (a top pro) did not have an argument with his wife that morning. So, everything does add up; 7:15 must be possible!

you mean this might not be US production. agreed, but probably will be asia/euro production. R34/R33 were pretty fast too

I don't see any production version of this car with a 3.8 liter engine doing 7:15. In theory, it is possible to get 600-650hp out of that engine with larger twin turbos, but I doubt that you can drive it around for too long before it needs to be rebuilt. Regardless, even 650hp would not be enough for 7:15 unless the car weighs <3000lbs.

OK, then...

8:03? Is the tyre choice confirmed as Cups?

And why is the time listed as "provisional"?

Hmmm.... 5 seconds down on stock RS4 and 13 down on an e46 CSL. Somebody needs to get their arse in gear to:
1) nail that RS4
2) get that CSL shipped

Not exactly...

1. The time is not the Sportauto time which is the most unbiased and standardized. The Sportauto time is 8:09.
2. The car was not stock, it was lightened for sure and probably had upgraded brakes and tires as well.

Hey, the time says what is says, what's with all the skepticism?

Ah, the physics. Physics just don't add up, eh?

I guess all these times are bogus....

OK man. You start putting your money away for the production 650hp 2800lb GTR then!

Not sure what you mean by "all these times". It's only the 7:15 GTR time that seems bogus to me. As I said, 7:35 might happen with some kind of tweaked engine.
