Will DCT performance steering wheel work on 6MT?

So evidently there is no real difference between the DCT and 6 MT performance steering wheels besides the holes in the back for the paddle shifters. I talked with one of the distributors on the board and they said that BMW raised the 6MT wheel price because they were selling more of them.

My question is; can I save $50 and order the DCT wheel and install it on my 6MT and the only impact would be a couple holes in the back where the DCT paddles would go? I wonder how noticeable it would be?

Bro you own a 13" M3? 50$ isn't a big deal. if i were you since i own the performance steering wheel, i would go with the 6 speed one, even if it coasts 50$ more.

yeah it will work but you will have a couple holes on the back side. Was primarialy asking this because at the time a used DCT was for sale for significantly cheaper but in the end I just bought a new one from the dealership.
