Akra Evo at Laguna Seca

Has anyone driven their Akra Evo at LS? Did you have volume issues? Is it over 90db?

what's your x-pipe setup? Did Akra make a DB claim on their product?

I've seen at tracks if the car was too loud, people put that bent pipe adapter on their pipe to clear the restriction where they measure the noise, it basically directs the noise away from the measurement area. it's a custom piece, and these guys are making it on there:

don't laugh, but it looks like this:

I've seen it at Road and Track Live! driver event where they stuck it on a F430's tail pipes.

Alternatively, it's probably just easier to let up the throttle in the measurement areas. lol

There are plenty of guys that run the Evo at Laguna. It's probably over the db limit, but you just have to upshift early by the soundcheck booth. There are definitely people with louder setups that go to Laguna. I would probably post this in the CA regional section for a better response.

I have heard of people having issues with it. It will be a gamble for sure.

My understanding is that it depends on what the db restriction is for the day you are running. A friend is going there tomorrow and it is a 105db day.
