widest tires on BBS CH-R ??

BBS CH-R

Front: 20x9 +24 offset
Rear: 20x10.5 +24 offset

(255/30/20) Front
(305/25/20) Rear

Will this tire size work please? Looking at Nitto Invo.

Currently run 245/295 Conti's just fine

I run 295 PSS on a 19x10.5 CH-R and they are pretty "bulgy". But my GF runs a 305 RE11 on her 370Z (also on a 19x10.5) and it's slightly less "bulgy" than my 295. Basically, what I am getting at is that I think it will come down to the tire.

It will work regardless but it may look weird. And I'm not sure whether the Invo runs narrow or wide. What I DO know about the Invo is that it is garbage (based on the dozens of scathing reviews on this site).

305/25/20 should fit but it will depend on the tire brand and your suspension settings. I ran that size with Pirelli P-Zero Nero's on 20 x 11 et29 wheels. They fit without rubbing. Your wheels are narrower but your offset places the tire at the same point relative to the fender. You may rub since your tire won't be stretched.

I would run 255/30/20 or 265/30/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the rear. The fronts will rub in either of the sizes I suggested (at full lock on the fender liners). I don't like 20's for a number of reasons but one of biggest is the thin side-wall. The prior listed sizes give you the absolute tallest sidewall available on a 20" wheel. Nitto Invo are a weak tire. I would suggest Michelin PSS which are the best tire for the money IMO. Unfortunately the PSS is not available in 255/30/20 so you would have to go with 245/30/20 or 265/30/20. Another benefit is that my suggested sizes reduce the stagger front to rear which will reduce under-steer. I hope this helps!

If you want more traction don't get Invos. Another consideration is that the 25 series tire sidewall is so thin and unflexible that it can reduce traction from a dig (think drag cars - they use tall flexible sidewalls and super sticky rubber). You may be better off with the slightly taller 285/30 sidewall. If you had 19's or 18's you could choose much stickier tires (street/track like AD08's or RS3's). The best tire available for 20's is the Michelin PSS.
