This is what brings your Walmart goods from China (1,302 ft.x 207. ft., 110,000 hp, 31 kt, Net cargo - 123,200 tons capacity - 15,000 TEU {1 TEU = 20 ft3 container}):
When it comes to buying Chinese products, I believe the counterpoint is that by freeing ourselves of the manufacturing burden, we can focus on higher margin tasks such as design, management, and emerging technologies, and sell the outcome of those back to China. My understanding is that it is not playing out that way though.

Just read in the news that Porsche has indeed dropped the prices of all their vehicles and accessories by an average of 10% in Canada to reflect the high dollar. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out over time.

On www.porsche.ca all the prices are To Be Announced....interesting.

It is unfortunate thought, that with the price decreases for new vehicles, the trade-in//resale value of your currently owned vehicles will follow suit too.

Porsche drop the price 4 weeks ago......my neighbor bought a new GT3. They contacted me as well trying to sell a 911 Turbo

I feel for those who bought in 2007....
