Ohlins R&T Kit...no front bump stops?

Hey guys my ohlins R&T kit is getting installed as I type and I was just told that the front shocks don't come with bump stops?

The rear shocks come with bump stops and are shown in the installation diagram but nothing is mentioned or show for the front...

It's impossible to reuse the factory bump stops due to clearance and I don't like the idea of not having them.

If anyone can chime in that would be great

From all the pictures posted on the forum it looks like there only bump stop for the rear, lets us know how the Ohlins R&T are considering a set myself soon

The front strut is inverted and the bumpstop is likely internal.

Thanks for the help guys!

Looks like the ohlins has internal bump stops in the front shocks!

A little late to catch this thread.

Front struts are inverted so the bump stops are internal. You are not going to see them.

In addition, the nitrogen chamber(separated by a floating piston)will act as a buffer as well.

No problem, thanks for the explanation !
I had a question for you, on certain bumps I hear the front spring turn on the shock perch. Would thrust sheets resolve this?

If they are indeed doing that, it would be happening on the lower perches as the uppers are mounted on a bearing so there is little to no bind.

If you can somehow peek in the wheel well and see paint being rubbed off on the lower part of the springs where they contact the spring perch, then a set of thrust sheets will resolve the binding issues. The other benefit of the thrust sheets is that they also dampen some spring noises if there is any.
