reverse passenger mirror

when I put my car into reverse the rear view mirror adjusts downwards.

However it never goes down far enough that I can truly see the curb. Is there anyway i can modify this further and change the default?

do you have memory seats?

if so....just disable the mirror tilt with reverse feature via moving the mirror selector to passenger side...then just set M2 with your desired mirror tilt....

Yeah that's what I was thinking about doing, but I use both one and two positions.

That may be what I end up doing though.

My mirror no longer tilts when in reverse after a visit to the dealer. Is this something that has to be coded? Or how do I get it to tilt again?

Make sure the toggle to adjust the mirrors is back to the left side...if it was switches to the right your mirror will not tilt.

Mirror selector switch needs to be in the "Left" position.

Yep it was that simply thanks guys. The dealer updated my software so I just assumed it had something to do with that.
