Why does Huper Optik look so reflective and mirror like?

I'd rather get the Formula One, but I found a great installer near me that does HO ceramic. I just don't know if I can live w/ the look, but then I'd rather have HO w/ a clean install than F1 w/ a subpar install. Any of you guys end up switching after getting HO? Pics?

Don't know why it appears more reflective but it is more difficult to install - a little thicker than most and you'll find that the air bubbles take up to 3 weeks to finally disappear. I have had HO 35 - liked it but primarily bought because of the skill of installer. Now using Formula One Pinnacle and like it as much as HO. Find a good installer for your Formula One.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll hold off and find a good F1 installer.

Example of the HO mirror like finish...

Here's the F1's less reflective finish...

That's odd... My HO doesn't look nearly as reflective as in those pictures.. I have all windows done including windshield.

Ok so I just went out to the garage to look. I guess it is reflective in a way but it definitely doesn't look silver or mirror like at all. I've had tint look silver in the past and hated it.

Good you post some pictures along with the percentage please? If it doesn't look as bad in the pictures, this solves my problem and I will happily get the Huper with the installer I feel comfortable with.

That's F1 35/30 (I forget the exact percentage they call it, but it's 34% VLT)

Found another pic of HO 40 and it looks solid. Also spoke to the owner of the HO tint spot and he eased my mind on the reflectivity. It's 9% which is the same as the factory windows, so it doesn't add any reflectivity. The F1 does reduce the reflectivity because it's a dyed ceramic, HO is a true nano-ceramic. In other words, I let myself get sold . Going in this Saturday.

I'll have to dig for the percentages. It was a while ago. Definitely not darker than 40%. Possibly 50%. Windshield is 70 I believe.

Here are some super old/crappy cell phone pics. Should give you an idea at least..
