let me put my flame suit on before you guys attack me. here are my two cents though being a newer member. i am planning to order my car this year. i test drove both the manual and the dct. i did like the manual but it was very notchy and very unnatural. i think especially here in socal where the traffic is good and then bad in one second this would be a pain in the a$$. i drove the dct and while some of the passion of the car dissappears with the manual tranny, you can enjoy the car more because you are not looking to downshift ever other second. i am still debating but hoping the bugs are worked out on the auto tranny.

I have 3k on my manual, and the notchiness has mostly gone away, so I'm sure the break in had some to do with it, but also learning the footwork to drive it smoothly is also a big part of it.
