We gave up for today. It was a long day and I think most of the hard parts are behind us but we will continue tomorrow morning. I took lots of pictures but I can't upload them from my friend's house.

We completed all disassembly (which is a LOT)
We installed all of the pullies on and got the belts on
The supercharger and brackets are all mounted
The intercooler is 90% mounted and finished
The injectors have been changed
The old plenum is off but the new one isn't on yet.

The Evolve guys have been helpful but I really have to work with them on the instructions - they are like the super abbreviated version that overlook many of the small steps.

We will continue tomorrow morning and hopefully be done by mid-day.

This is to be expected with the first installs. Once you get it straightened out then others will benefit from all your hard work. Thanks for taking the time to document and share.

Sounds like a productive day to me. Can't wait to see the install pics

Hard work for sure! When I look at my list of what was accomplished it doesn't look like a long list but trust me, it was. I don't know if you have to completely take apart the front of the car for the other s/c kits but everything other than the radiator and oil cooler were out - bumper, lights, crash bar, front clip, ducts, supports, everything.

I was a little premature with being ready to start it before. When I did finally start it there was something squealing but I think it was just because I got the belt wet with coolant but it quickly went away. It only threw one code and after I cleared it there weren't any more. Unfortunately now is the hardest part and I can't go over 3,000 RPM for 60 miles. I drove home which was 35 miles but after my 2 kids go to sleep I will be heading out to finish the 60 and open her up.

I will try to post some pictures later.

It was not an easy job but as with most things like this if I had to install another one I could do it in 1/2 of the time now that I know how it all works. Yesterday we worked on it from 10am to 8:30 pm and today was from 7:30am to 6pm with no lunch. Part of today was just the cleanup but overall it was still a solid 2 days of work.

Me too. It is too bad that I am so tired and achy right now that I want to take a shower and go to sleep. Don't worry there is no way I am not testing this thing out tonight.

Good googly moogly that's a lot of sh*t removed for that install, didn't have to remove half that for my VF620 installation. Good job and pretty sure your hands and back hate you right now.

Omg . I can't wait for some more update and videos. Are you going to dyno it and see how much you gain with this SC?

Last night I saw pictures of a used ESS kit for sale and I was thinking that that install would be significantly easier.

I am definitely going to dyno it soon and will post the results. I have to wait a few hundred miles though to get fully adapted. Is there anything in particular that you would like to see a video of? I do have one of starting the engine but it isn't very exciting.
