It may sound crazy, but I just kind of like the OEM look.

Why would they make it for E92? You can do the OEM LCI taillights which don't cost that much more than these and are OEM.

I'd much rather go that route than aftermarket taillights. For the E90, you need a new trunk and other hardware along with coding to make it work. So the LCI lights is much cheaper on an E92 than an E90.

These taillights look good but still doesn't look OEM.

If I had an E92, there would be no question. OEM LCI tails and be done with it. However, the E90 is a totally different story.

The main thing to keep in mind is that once you go down the full LCI trunk an lights path you're easily over $2k, where these are a fraction of that. Plus, these can easily be removed and resold when selling the car, whereas that's much harder with an LCI trunk, especially if the shop has properly blended the new trunk paint with the surrounding areas.

I think they look pretty OEM. No question I would go this route instead of the full OEM swap I did, if I had to do it again.

No doubt about it... definitely a lot less expensive and easier to do. But still not 100% OEM since the trunk design is different as well.

I'm waiting for someone to import these to the US so we don't have to pay the ludicrous shipping costs.
