Glycine Lagunare - Love it. Also a big fan of Bell & Ross, Panerai, Kobold, and some of the bigger Omegas and Breitlings.

I have a couple Seiko autos, too. My favorite being the classic 6309.

Baume et Mercier - their "classica executive contemporary" style watch. No live picture, but a picture from their website.

Recently, I bought a Timex Triathlon watch for my trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It was a solid purchase and the temperature at the Grand Canyon was over 113 degrees Fahrenheit. My watch kept excellent good time and I locked it with Atomic time and it 0 seconds ahead or behind when I came back from the trip. My Dad's Timex quartz watch was slow about 1 hour probably due to the extreme temperatures. If I didn't rely on my watch, I would have missed the bus back to Las Vegas!

Now I know why the Timex Triathlon watch is certified for use by NASA for space travel and it's a common digital watch for fighter pilots.

It's cheap, accurate, and reliable. I recommend it, even though it's not a classy looking watch but sporty enough for a 3 series driver.

Note: I bought it new a week before the trip so the battery was probably still strong so the extreme temperatures at the Grand Canyon probably didn't affect the battery so much. My Dad's Timex analog quartz watch was 5 years old so the battery was probably somewhat weak in the beginning.

I always wanted a Sinn but I think they're overpriced for a company that never advertises their products in glossy magazines. How is the anti-reflective coating holding up? I heard they smudge and stratch easily and in the long run flake off completely.

For an automatic watch, does the second hand sweep smoothly or is it just a fast tick?

This watch is my daily beater. The anti-reflective crystal is holding up pretty good as well as the tegimented case/bracelet. I lost count on how many times I banged in against the wall or the door knob and it still has no scratches with the antireflective still intact. The second hand is sweep and really smooth. Worth the money I paid for it, also heard the prices went up recently.

damn ballers, rocking pams/rolex as daily beater watches.

just got myself a seiko chronograph watch as my daily beater. and i thought $200 was a bit too much for a daily watch

Omega Railmaster Co-Axial for me, but I have several other watches, including a white Seamaster GMT, a Sinn 656, a Tudor Oyster, a Hamilton auto chronograph and a ton of various Seikos, mostly divers, several with mods by Mk II Watches.
