Alcon BBK

Guys, I seriously have considered Alcon Superkit for long time.

I found very good price offer, and was ready to order, but need your feedback regarding replacements and service parts for this kit. Has anyone needed new caliper seals, any others parts after hard use on a track ? Is it worth to order extra set of discs and pads when I order Superkit ?
Finally, has anyone ordered Superkit from JDL ? http://www.jdl-brakes.com/bmw-m3-e90-e92.html

if this is a street car that will be used on track.....that set won't be fazed....discs should last you quite some time.

on the race car, brakes (calipers/rotors) were one of the last thing that required service...granted, would replace seals annually (just for precaution and its cheap) , rotors hold up really well (lost about 1-2mm a year) but other than that....they are good to go. (edit....would replace front and rear rotors for grins as well, but we're talking dedicated race car here..gotta stop the car, don't want to go hitting something)

I've had the Alcons for over 2 years now, Chicago winters, over 30k miles and around 50 track days on the set. Love the consistency and have been very durable in double duty. Have gone through 2 sets of rotors, one was due to a loose hat, and close to a dozen sets of pads. Love the setup, lead time for replacement parts was an issue and pad selection (although that's been improving almost daily), but expected that as think I was the first with this set. Would definitely do again

Looks like the only difference in the Pad Compound. RS29 in the track set, and RS9-2 in the Street Model.

Yeah, I think only pads are different. Btw, price is good, if they still offer cheap shipping to US, it can be best price on market now.

I've heard very good things about the product itself, however I have heard that wait time's for replacement parts are a bitch. I went with Brembo

Except of pads, there are different calipers seals, it's confirmed.
