Pump gas with Toluene Mix

Race gas is not legal in turkey,so there are few options for octane boost.
Can i mix toluene with pump gas with stock m3 ecu ?
And the proportion is like 25liters of pump fuel and 5 liters of toluene ?

Yes you can do it...not sure of the ratio though but you probably would want to add 6litres per tankful, may have to do a search for it though. As you probably know though, Toluene is a dangerous chemical. Something to think about....

Toulene is a great octane booster. You can find the correct mixture for the desired octane gain with some searching on the internet. There is a limit to how much percentage you should run, but you can certainly run enough to raise the octane a few points.

I am not sure in Turkey but it is hard to find pure Toulene. i would want to make sure that you have a good source for it.

Solvent based thinners (laquer thinner) are mostly toulene. Been using it for years....

BURAKUSTA,

Look into Torco or a product like it (not sure if there are any?). I'm not sure if its available outside of the U.S., however it takes all the guess work out of the mixing ratios.

I personally run with Torco just to protect myself from a bad tank of gas since I'm running a supercharger...

Toluene is great. Much better than octane boosters you find in gas stations and it has no harm to cats or O2 sensor. Used it for quite a long time many years ago. Just be careful with storage. For 25 liter, you can add even more toluene, something like 7.5 liter (30%) but that might yeild you a rough cold start as toluene needs heat to function well. At this time of year, i'd add something like 7 liter but in colder days i'd add less.

What's your pump gas octane there BTW? 95 RON?
