So looking forward to this gents!
Hey bud, I'll be bringing the g/f. I believe she is more excited about the drive than I am.

Hello everyone, I told a few local E36 M3 and E39 M5 owners about this... I'm a driving enthusiast and a photographer myself so I may try and tag along in my Psuedo M5.

so if you see this show up you'll know who roadcone is...

I would guess 3-4 but I will ask for an official count.

Just in case any of you guys want to join us;

Here is the map for tomorrow's Intown Atlanta M's Sunday lunch and drive. We meet for lunch at 1 PM at Willy's on Howell Mill just off 75 and then we will go for the mountain drive from there.

Hope you can make it, Ken

I'm adding my name back to the list. I've got a friend that is going to ride with me so that's 2 more lunch. I'm ready to see all of these M cars together.

Just a heads up... Blue Ridge Parkway is closed between asheville and mt. mitchel due to a 2-4" wide, 100ft long crack in the road that is much as 6ft deep in some places....

We will leave at 10AM. We will split everyone into 3 groups (with someone local that knows the route leading each group), leaving 10 mins apart. Please come already fueled up. We will then drive on Caesar's head, head towards Brevard for lunch (get there at 11:30ish if not earlier), then we will drive on part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. There will be a stop for a small photoshoot around a place called Skinny Dip falls.

After that, the group from ATL can start heading South if they want, while the NC folks can break off too. The SC crew will prob go a bit further and then call it a day.

Here's the route:
https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=1...=10&via=3&z=10

This is pretty much the same route as we took on this drive. Here are some pics:

Eric, please spread the word to the ATL guys about this new info. I'll also leave you my phone number so that we can all communicate.

Everyone else, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

It's not a problem for us fortunately. It says between Asheville and Mt.Mitchell, which is in a a completely different direction.

Cannot wait to hear the sounds of all these cars make.

Gil said he will put a faster shipping on the intake so I may have it on for the drive. That way you and the guys will be able to see (and maybe hear) it in person

The route you mapped out looks delicious haha

I unfortunately had to change my plans last night. So, I will not be making the trip. I hate that I am going to miss you guys but I know you are going to have a great time. Another M5 guy added his name to the list however, so I would still count on 3-4 from the M5 board.

Dang, sorry to hear that. We'll have another drive (depending on how this one goes) in the fall I'm sure.

Sup guys.....I'm in Greenville and interested in joining the run in my Estoril E36M....I just got it so its not built to my expectation yet, but I'm itching for a drive. I usually take these roads in my MB C300 Sport 6MT, but I'm sure it's not allowed lol. See you guys on Saturday......

This sounds like the same place as last time. Worked out great and had live entertainment afterwards with the soapbox car races lol
