I agree great looking wheel. 20" are just to harsh for Toronto roads especially if the car is your DD.

Hi guys,

Updated as requested by the PM's w pics w the wheels off the car. I have to admit I've never had issues w the 20's in Toronto - although after living here for 10 yrs now I guess I know which streets to avoid - ack Eastern Ave ack ack - but other than that I've been completely happy w them and replaced them w another set of 20's. As long as you have winters you're good. Should also mention that I DO have a KW V3 setup on the car, and no rubbing issues.

Beauty wheels for summer!

Just saw these wheels in person and they are as good as they look in the pictures.

Somebody has to jump on these!

can they be finished in black? or is that something you don't want to do to these higher end rims?

^^I believe you can send them back to HRE and they will refinish them for a price.

Yes, GOLFFRR's right - you can send them to HRE for re-tinting and re-finishing. To my knowledge all of the HRE classic line wheels start as polished forged aluminum, but the tints they offer are applied as a coat to the aluminum. Unless someone with better technical knowledge knows that for certain colours (i.e. gloss black) they actually dye the aluminum in the forging process or something...

You can get a reputable shop to paint them, StreetXtreme just painted a silver Vorsteiner set of rims for their client gunmetal. Looked mint when it was done. Rims were brand new for almost 10k.

Hey BMWM3 -

Sorry already made my wheel decision so don't need any additional wheels. Brembo BBK however I would be interested in!

i think $600 - $750 should get them full redone... not just coating over the scrapes.

these are great looking wheels... and the price is good too.
