BIMMERPOST once again sponsored the most recent Airstrip Attack taking place on 4/6-4/7, a two day runway shootout race event held at the Coalinga Municipal Airport in Coalinga, California.

This race features a ESS VT2-625 Supercharged M3 vs Gintani Stage 2 Supercharged M3. Both cars featured DCT transmission and FBO (full bolt-ons). There were two runs, featured in the video below.

Looks like the white M jumped pretty good on the first run , either way it was a close run between the two

im not too sure about the gintani m3, but the other white m3 is longboarders m3, it has the akra slip on and malek's catless x pipe.

Yes both catless. Essentially the same set up....2013 white M3's Both with Vortech blowers making similar boost. I'm making 5.8-6.0 psi and Josh is making 7.5 psi per our dyno's. Both with DCT and both with a race gas/91 octane mix. I have the stock ZCP 19's with Mich PSS and I think Josh is running Volk 18's with RS3's. We dyno'd within a few HP of each other so the results make sense.

is it a ESS vt2 625 kit or a 650 kit?

Jason looks like there is a typo in the thread you state its a 650 kit but if its adam's its a 625 kit

Can we see some driver weight comparisons. I'm sure ESS has much healthier food choices around their shop, which could play a significant role.

It seems like the Gintani has some crazy power on the low end and then Longboarder reeled him right in up on top

How was it a tie the Gintani has 515 hp and 340 Pounds feet of Torque and the ESS 625 has 562 Hp and 370 Pounds feet of torque on dyno.

But I guess u get what u pay for the Gintani is $14995 and the ess is $11695. But still bad ass Video

The Gintani car actually made 577 RWHP / 374 RWTQ STD on the Specialty Z dyno yesterday. Josh sent me the dyno sheet. So it's making good power
