Jerez Black 2 Stage Polish

Hey everyone. Recently I took my car to Orion Detailing here in Toronto for a paint correction. Brought the car in primarily because I tried doing a DIY plastidip on the mirrors which resulted in bad overspray. After trying to clean it I ended up scratching the paint. I figured I wouldn't be able to fix it so I called a professional. Sent Wes a text from many great reviews about his work. Brought the car for him to check out, but as bad as it was he said he would do his best to fix it.

As most of you know, Jerez black is probably one of the hardest colors to keep scratch free, but looks amazing when is. The results are honestly beyond what I had expected. Wes was able to remove most of the scratches and brought out that glow every Jerez Black M3 hides. I honestly believe that every dark colored car should have this process done on it, and with proper washing techniques will last.

The pictures speak for themselves...

I actually think MR looks significantly better with this process done to it, you should definitely give him a shout.

The paint does look significantly worse under the light than during day light, but definitely looks way better after the paint correction.

It's actually a pain, but after 3 years of exposure the paint looks brand new again.

+1, must have been really sad to see that paint under gas station lights at night; I find that the worst lighting as far as paint goes.

+1, When you have perfect paint its hard not to use their lights to feed your admiration

The imperfections in your paint, apart from the occasional deep scratch, are easy to correct and easy to avoid with wash/drying technique. Did Wes review with you ways to maintain the restoration?

In addition to keeping scratch free, it is like a continous labor of love to keep it clean. Everything shows...

Amazing finish. I don't know what's it with dark colour. Polish when properly done bring out the depth and details of the paint as well as the glossiness. Well done.
