So there could be a saloon M3, a coupe and convertible M4, and M4 GC and now possibly an M3 GT. Which, whilst that is very exciting...
It seems a little daft that the one car variant then that won't be made is be the one that filled so many niches in one - a tourer. Very fast, you can put the dogs and family in it and lug loads and not have to pay for folding seats as an option. I can see why Audi made the RS4 avant. Does anyone make a dog kennel roof rack for the M3? |

However in the UK estates/tourers/avants whatever you want to call them are very popular indeed with our lot. You can see by the resale value of bimmer 3 tourers how much of a demand there is for them, they are a lot dearer second hand than saloons/sedans. I guess just have to keep fingers crossed for an M Performance 340i/d tourer at some point or an ///M Dog Rack Last edited by clbmw; 04-03-2013 at 06:44 PM. |

![]() I haven't seen the films for years but he drags the dog behind the car right? I hope I don't have to do that just to prove to BMW we need a performance tourer here... I think I just heard one of the dogs bark 330d or something to that effect?? My money is on a beefy twin/tri turbo diesel tourer as that would sell well in Europe, I'd settle for that as I cannot justify (or probably afford) an M3/4 as my next car. |

///MM would be a great name for the *rumoured* supercar Then next time round in another 40 years it could be the ///MMM but that's starting to sound like a Simpson-mobile |
