BMW E92 M3 GT 500 by Leib Engineering

BIMMERPOST NEWS
BMW E92 M3 GT 500 by Leib Engineering

COMMENTS

Leib Engineering releases its BMW M3 GT 500 featuring performance and cosmetic upgrades.

Power on the S65 V8 has been increased to 470 HP via software tune, stainless steel exhaust system, X pipe, 100-cell HJS cat, and muffler with vaccum controlled Pierburg valves.

To stop the M3 from all this extra power, Brembo brakes replace the factory brakes (4 piston 380x32mm discs front / 2 piston 320x28mm discs rear).

As for the looks to match the performance, the M3 GT 500 features M Performance carbon fiber front splitters, carbon fiber mirror covers, and carbon fiber trunk spoiler. The lower rear bumper and parts of the front bumper have also been painted in black to give a sportier look.

The interior features an M Performance steering wheel with digital race display and suede seats and DCT shifter boot with contrast stitching.

do want! Now this is one classy tuning shop. Nothing over the top, no machine guns, no wings, no 21 inch wheels, no rocket thrusters...

Pretty tasteful, could do without the stripes but... very nice.

I really like that paint scheme aside from the side graphics.

I don't see what the big deal is here, besides their brand of engine tuning and exhaust parts, it's all Brembo or BMW Performance parts. This looks like 99% of all the AW E92s on this forum (but Snig, their bumpers and 220Ms are painted black! EDGY and totally different!).

Another good looking and well put together AW E92, minus the whole GT500 sticker on the side. Nothing that makes us say wow like we would with the AutoCouture TechnoViolet or PowerBeast's car, or hell... Esquire's Dakar yellow.

no doubt you can put together the similar package for much cheaper. Agreed, it's just their tuning and exhaust that they're selling.

Why does almost every tuner feel the need to use fast and furious graphics? Even BMW M-Sport showcases and sells those gaudy top stripes.

I don't understand why anyone would buy this when you can just purchase those mods yourself. Nothing special about this.

Why focusing on the silly graphics on the side? It's probably just here to say [TUNERNAME] so that people remember it and it remains seen when the picture is shared. I really can't imagine it's mandatory when you order

It's a tastefully assembled car, +50hp is welcome while keeping the engine naturally aspirated, sounds pretty good to me !

FORD wants their name back.

Decent looking machine. Nice power bump, graphics are a bit cheesy but not impossible. ( Porsche anyone?). dumb name.
