BPM tune owners, what throttle options?

Hey guys,

As per the title really. Im going to go with this tune but would be interested to know if you went with the sharper or aggressive throttle response for normal and sport mode?

As much as I love redlining her like anyone else, I dont get much oppurtunity to do so in town so low to mid range is just as important to me

My car is stock bar M perf exhaust
thanks in advance for your replies!

I never bothered to indicate what throttle options, whatever I got from Mike I'm happy with. Throttle works very well with my style of driving.

Same here. I am very happy with the improved throttle response both in regular and sport modes. Really comes into its own on twisty roads in 2nd/3rd gear.

I just got whatever mike provided and I was happy. In normal mode, it feels sharper and more percise but not like the original BMW sport mode (i felt it was hard to moderate the throttle)

Whatever Mike sent as default is what I have. Having said that, the car in Sport+ combined with test pipes and BPM tune is absolutely insane. It made me laugh all the way to the next red light.

I use to drive in sports mode for up to five years. But since getting the BPM tune it has been normal for me. I hardly use sports, and yet to use sports+.

I asked Mike for his different styles and of course went with the most aggressive. I would say Normal is great for everyday driving now. Sport is spot on and Sport Plus is a whole other world. Either one is fine for my style of driving, if anything I just drop to a S/D-2/3 for casual driving. 4 is for the spirited driving. Luckily for me I will be trying 5 on the Nurburgring this weekend. Hope this helps.

I'm jealous once again! I will have to take a trip to Germany soon... Maybe an F80 order or something along those lines. Last time I was there I went to Munich and Friesing (sp?), but didn't have any time to hit the ring because it was meeting to meeting.

We normally don't alter throttle response maps at all because this makes you lose a bottom portion of the gas pedal. After all, three throttle response modes from the factory leaves a driver with enough choices for pedal response to begin with. What we do alter is throttle body opening - although it's a very small change (3%), it makes the car more responsive and peppy.

For those that request more aggressive throttle response, we're happy to do that. We always suggest trying the software in standard form because it's near perfect without additional tweaking
