Looks like the a CSL look spoiler may be my first mod! Looks good. I even like the black front fender extenders...

I'm not actually too sure about this CSL. I dont like the trunk spoiler and the black front spoilers dont look too good either. I assume they are for extra downforce?

If that's a CSL, which is possible, then it's a very early mule. It won't look exactly like that car, they're only "imitating" the aerodynamics...

To me it looks like there's no back seat either, which seems logical. How many people really fill their M3 to capacity especially if your in the market for the track ready light weight version.

What's different besides the spoiler on the trunk and the extra black plastic bits at both sides the frontbumpers in front of the front wheels....???

You cant really tell or confirm that the track is wider, and it doesnt look like a bootlid just a bigger add on lip spoiler. That would suck if BMW didnt integrate the spoiler into the decklid.

The wheels are different in front and back. I'll have to see more pictures of it to decide if I like it. Need more angled shots and close ups. A video would be gr8.

Looks so-so.......hopefully they will alter the front airdam just as they did on the E46 CSL.........

Too bad it's all moot anyway as it won't be offered here in the U.S.......

It could just be a E92 m3 with some development of new accessorys on it. eg 2 different types of wheels , front fenders , rear spoiler.

Just dont think this is a CSL

M-DCT

I think this could indeed be an early CSL. Since it is likely that the CSL will be offered only with the M-DCT the development here could be working on the CSL engine and M-DCT hopefully hastening the release of M-DCT for the regular coupe.

Another indication that will (eventually) help us identify the CSL will be larger brake calipers which should be easy to pick out in a slightly better photo.

This red actually looks slightly different as well. Could be just the picture tho. The last CSL was only offered in 2 colors so maybe this time they will offer different color options.

I'm willing to dish out 10k above the normal M3 price for a true M3 that weighs at least 200 lbs less and has propper steering feel and also improved gas milage by 3mpg! Hopefully, that'll translate to something equal or under $70k base.

Note, extra horse power is NOT on the my list. An extra two cylnders is NOT on the list either! Extra low end torque is of course always welcome. More sporty interior is also welcome. Cool exclussive CSL colors are very desirable.
