Did anyone else get this in the mail?

Got a large envelope in the mail this morning from BMW... I opened it up to find a nice letter from BMW and the print below, an artistic rendering of the original vision for the E90 M3.

Nice little surprise, especially considering the model isn't even produced anymore.

Yes, I got one about six months ago or so. Pretty nice print that I matted and framed for hanging in my garage.

I have also seen the x5 sketch as well. Very cool touches from BMW.

Yeah, BMW sent me the original concept art for the M3 as a gift for my car's one year birthday.

Yes, I got it a couple days ago. I weep for the poor tree who sacrificed its life for it. Seriously though BMW does normally send decent "thank you" stuff continuously.

I got the same thing on my first year of purchase. Second year was a carbon fiber pen...I'm waiting for my 3rd and 4th year of ownership gifts.

I got the X5 print as well, but at least we own an X5 unlike the poster above. To be honest it went right into my round steel file container, I would have rather been given a check for a tank of gas or something. Not too big on the car sentimentality stuff...I would like to get the pen though - that's something I can use!

I got the original sketch last year for my Ms b day..can honestly say with the other German performance cars I have owned (Audi and Mercedes) I have never received any thank you or anything in the mail. BMW also sent me a carbon fiber pen several months ago as well.

Just another reason why I will stay brand loyal with BMW. It's the small things like this that will keep me as a customer

Got the same exact one back in 2008 when I bought the car new. Had it framed with museum glass, looks fantastic. Also have one from my 2010 550.

But I never did get the CF pen that some people got from BMW!

Is this really a repro of a pre-production sketch by the car's designer, or one done well after the car was in production?
