Feeler: Will swap 19" Volks G2s for nice forged 18" set

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Or Best Offer

Item Interest
I am looking to get a bit more comfort in my ride (baby on board at times), so I am thinking about swapping my 19" Volks G2 (with genuine center caps), to something 18", preferably staggered to fit 275 and 295.

I do not remember the exact numbers, but I have the wide version - fits 275 front and 295 (ad08) or 305 (PSS) rear without spacers or rubbing.

One has some curb rash, which is on the lip only and is fixable, according to wheelsto (quoted $125), and others have very minor nicks on the lips that are not visible. I'll post pictures once I'll have a chance to get them out of winter storage and wash them.

Any interest?

Sorry for too little info.

Volk G2 formula silver, 19x9.5" F +22, 19x10.5" R +25. Not sure about the face - looks good to me :-).

I cannot find any pics on my car but here are the pictures of the guy who sold them to me:

Don't do it...those G2s are beauty! I don't think you will notice enough of a difference in ride between 18s and 19s.

The curb rash is quite noticeable, but it's on the lip that's sticking far out so no damage to the wheel finish. I'll post pictures. But thinking about it, I'd feel better if I get it fixed first - I was told it's 100% fixable, but do not want to make a promise without being completely sure myself.

I have 18 inch gloss black Volk TE37s with same offsets and centercaps.. I even have Hankook tires with 95% tread. I can also remove the paint from the tires as it is not permanent.

I do realize you probably don't want the same looking wheel.

Damn I love these rims man.

I fixed curb rash on the wheels and decided to keep them - they are just too good to part with. The ride is tolerable on PSS, and I'm probably not going to get any more aggressive tires this season.
