Silverstone is da best! Everything else looks bland to me (well Interlagos ain't bad ) Sounds like we are all liking our chosen colors.

that looks like an oil dipstick i see in the engine bay. i can't be sure though. maybe, just maybe bmw decided that the computerized oil temperature sensor wasn't enough.

that computerized oil sensor is prone to faults. the one in my 335i said i was empty on oil when going up mt kehlstein in berchtesgaden. i shut it down and turned it back on 2 minutes later and it said i was totally fine. i added some oil just to be safe, but it sucks not being able to check with a dipstick!

There is definitely no manual dipstick. You must be seeing things.
