Nice thread and a good ice breaker for those of us that don't know a lot of people.

lot's of young guys on here talking about "being blessed" to have a nice car @ a young age. Call me what you will; I'm sure a 20 something has help from someone other than the Lord when it comes to financially securing an expensive car.
Shit I was making great money in m early twenties and had a brand new Evo 9, but it still is nowhere near the cost of an M3. |

In the late 60s the Pagoda (Mercedes-Benz 280 SL see my 1969 Restored Garage) new was near $9K in Canada (I know I test drove one and loved it), I would have had to put a salary equivelant of 3 years on the table to get one way back then. I guess it is at the same for young fellows today when comparing the price of an M3 here in Canada today. Then again it might be only 2 years sallary or even just one year for someone in there 20s. Lot's of the younger generation (on post 1 above) I assume lease an M3 or finance it and if they manage there money right it is doable. It was for me in my mid 20s I financed all my cars up until I was 50. So in the end I think it's all relative. EDIT … UPDATED LIST IN POST ONE UP TO AND INCLUDING POST 302
