That car minus the strips, hideous exhaust, spoiler and OF COURSE the M badge would look pretty good. Looks like a 335i

Dude needs advise with modding cars

Does have some resemblance if you scroll down the pics on page 1 (minus the LFA exhaust tips)

Yeah, but I've read quite a bit of it. I don't think the owner is so much trying to make a fake anything, but a whatever-he-thinks-of-at-the-moment...eh, thing.

It's not my cup of tea, but I think the other posters are impressed with his overall ability to cut, and reshape parts. In fitment, it's pretty good work. I have to admit that his body-shop skills are 10,000x what I can do.

And, I think that the picture we've seen at the start of this thread is hardly the last modification that the guy will make to this car. We'll just as likely see 20' wings, a set of sea-worthy pontoons, and a Flux Capacitor next... Wot the hell, let's cheer him on.

- V

When one wants a cabriolet, is there really any other choice than an M3? No. No, there's not.

Fake ///M badges are a pet peeve and I don't care for the stripes, but looking at that thread was interesting - he put a ton of work into this thing. Sounds like he's having fun with it. I've seen worse - usually hack jobs with lopsided badges or kludged gills

If the kid can save himself $20k by slapping those M badges himself in lieu of the Marketing dept at BMW and that makes him happy. Why not?
