a file that is constantly moving accross a large network. in order to download the file, the downloading file segments must at the same time be uploaded to other users requesting the file. torrents are tagged with a unique ID so that any particular torrent can be located from anywhere on the network with the correct software.

further to current definition, it should be noted that over the past 12 months or so, there has been a surge in torrent sites offering "free downloads" but where you have to pay a monthly fee to join. Some of these sites claim to be anonymous (bullsh*t by the way).
All these sites are simply mirrors of freely-available sites, carrying links to .torrent files for use with BitTorrent. The pay-to-join sites mostly don't even host any .torrent files themselves (that's how they get around the law) and this, in turn, means if you are actually stupid enough to shell out for any of these sites, you have lower intelligence than the average boiled sprout. Go shoot yourself in the gut, right now, to ensure you can't produce any spawn stupider than yourself.

Judging by TVGuide, seems to be the same format at SPEED.
Live on NBC Sports /NBC Sports HD, are Friday Practice 2, Qualifying, and Race. Then post race there's a 30 minutes of "F1 Extra".

But I have a feeling there will be commercial.

Well, think about it.
All the sports America is playing, American Football, NBA, NHL, MLB...they all regulated to have numerous breaks and time outs!!!

Only the European sports, football (soccer here), Motorsports. they all continuously for 45 minutes nonstop or from green light to checker flag.

Thats the point. Motorsports isnt stop and go like football, hockey, and baseball. And nobody understands it.

Agree!!! At least they should've done it like Sky Sports F1. Only commercial on pre-race and post-race shows. Nothing during the race.

That show last night was one of the WORST pieces of F1 reporting I have ever seen. it appears to me that not only has the commentating team come over from Speed, but the production staff has gone to NBC as well.

Where shall I start, hmmm...

1) Right off the bat Hobbs says "All of the team have brought brand new cars to spain for testing this year". Umm, well that is true for the 3rd of the tests this year, but didn't any of the teams bring the chassis from last year? Hmm, actually that is the case. He took only seconds to display his ignorance, yet again.

2) No mention of what drivers went where. There were a number of driver shuffles from '12 to '13, yet very little mention of them.

3) We lost an entire team over the off season, they seem to have forgotten that

4) There is a MASSIVE financial issue with F1 again this year. Pay drivers are the norm, no longer then exception. To such a point that one driver was let go as they were testing. How can those commentators not even bring this point up?

5) Not a single mention of any rule changes for this upcoming year.

6) And this is my biggest gripe. They talked down to us F1 fans like we had never seen the sport before. Guess what NBC, brand new viewers won't be watching your F1 preview show. If they treated baseball fans the way treat F1 fans, I think there would be a lot of criticism lobbed at NBC for talking down to their audience. Yet, it's ok to do that for F1.

There's my quick review. But suffice to say I have ZERO faith that NBC Sports will be anything other than just a new set of letters in the bottom corner of our screens. Coverage will be the same shit we got from speed.

I've watched the sport for around 2 years now and I feel the American broadcasts talk down to viewers big time. The basics aren't complicated. I learned everything watching the BBC/Sky broadcasts and they never treated viewers like children. We are looking for high level analysis, not our F1 ABC's.
