Oh man you could have had a pretty epic slide coming out of turn 1 around 4 minutes. Who's e36 is that too right after that? It seemed to be moving along pretty good.

Your car is one of my favorites and your track videos are definitely my favorite. Awesome set up you have going on and love all the things youre trying.

The car looks amazing! You really make me want to spend money on my car and get the same parts down to the wheels etc


On another note, here's some advice on your driving:

-You're not using the curbs enough, especially on the drivers side.
-Use throttle to rotate the car
-You should be back on the throttle when the car is pointing at the apex, you're still flat on the throttle until you clip the apex

Holy mother of traffic. Only watched most of first vid but if there is a more advanced run group next time I feel you would be definitely ready for that.

On another note, any black flags for sound? I imagine your akrapovic set up isn't the quietest. I have a c5z I track, just put the stock exhaust back on last night and much quieter than the $hitty billy boat set up but still afraid to drive to Laguna seca from San Diego only to get flagged

Wonderful! Thanks for the amazing videos.

So many times I remember getting the point by and then losing my braking points and nearly missing the corner. I had a couple flashbacks as I was watching your video.

Wow, very nice looking track car and superb video. Especially because of the telemetry and great sound. The video has the quality of tv footgage.

A video of this quality is a great aid in improving your track performance.
In addition to the great tips of SecondLuitenant and in return for posting such a great vid:
- i hear a tire squeel on almost every corner entry. Work on your balance by not breaking into the (downhill) corners. Instead, push the throttle a little to balance the car and keep the speed constant.
- The slide in turn 1 looked cool, but nothing more Caused by too much throttle and imbalance to start with.
- i hear tire squeels on the down shifts. Probably because the speed of the car does not match the engine speed. Be more gently on the clutch, stay a gear higher or shift a lower revs. It could also be because of insufficient pressure on the rear tires, which can be controlled throught the front and rear shock absorbers.

You could win multiple seconds as your corner speed and corner exit speed will increase. Your tires will last langer too.

I always love your track videos. I've read your post-production setup and it's a lot of work but it's worth it.

With your car, adding downforce makes more sense to me than adding horsepower.

How often do you go through a set of Yokos?

Hey- if the wing is functional and you feel the difference, more power to you. The aero GTS parts looks 10x better on an AW M3.

Great video and pictures! Your video tells so much information. What software are you running, and how did you get rid of the wind noise?

BTW- nice late brake drifting at 8:00 lol- I know you probably didn't mean to since you were passing the 430 at the time.

It's nice to see people actually taking their 430s out- do you see that a lot at Laguna Seca?

From what I recall in regards to the slide in turn 1 it was because he was passing late on the front straight. I often find myself braking late as shit because the car I'm passing never lifts off the throttle. Or they have a ridiculous amount of hp and even when they lift its not enough. I always get self conscious about passing them slamming on my brakes in front of the person I passed, thus resulting in ABS, slides etc. it's really just me trying to be courteous but it's also me getting nervous about the usually upset driver that you passed slamming into your bumper because he's driving staring at you and not the next three corners like he should. Just my opinion but it seems like he only slid there during passes which is understandable in my head

I am NOT critisizing you but literally just wondering, why you don't ever take the RPM's past about 8k-8100 on the longer straights where I see you shift into the next gear almost always before 8100 even when full on throttle going on upshift? Given racing seems to be tenth of seconds making a difference, wouldn't potentially 3-5 stretches of the track staying in the lowest gear to 8600 (Think you said you had ESS tune) or even 8400 gain you a few tenths over the course of the track by getting your speed up even 1-2mph on those stretches?

I may be way off just curious

Next mod HUD tach. Lol
I would say that is pretty consistent upshifts.
