I had 666 on my plates too. Immediately after i open it and saw the 666, i took it to the DMV to get new plates. Funny thing was the guy at the DMV was very into religion and faith and he told me he completely understands and would have done exactly the same thing.

Believe what you want and let others believe what they want. Also, you should use proper English when putting down another's belief system: "you're" is the contraction for "you are".

Are you serious? My dad had 3 6's on his license plate before. They weren't even in a row. He felt it was good luck.

But did you really bring it back because of that and not maybe because it was bent or something. It seems like a waste of gas and time over numbers.

I don't mean to hate on you if you are that adament about it. Then that is cool. But for me it would be too much of a hassle.

I don't have Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia so I'll probably keep it on. I worry more about the uber religious nut bags that would go out of their way to deface my car because it has 666 on it. BTW I live next door to a Baptist minister. I can smell the fear on him as my loud exhaust, satanic (Metallica) music, dark tinted windows and 666 roll past his driveway every morning.

For those of you asking/wondering doesn't WA State screen, or eliminate certain letter/number combo's, they do. Certain letters are automatic, like DWI or DUI or KKK. If a combo receives a certain amount of complaints from other motorists (or anybody I guess) then the state will evaluate, then decide whether or not to permenately eliminate the combo. Since the op received the 666 plate, that obviously means there hasn't been enough complaints.

The only reason I know this stuff is because there was an article about it in the Seattle PI a few years ago.
