AC Blockage Sound

Recently I have been getting a strange sound from my airconditioner. Sometimes when it's on, it makes a sound like theres a vent that is suddenly being blocked by a valve. It sounds like the airflow is suddenly interrupted, then goes back to full power again.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is it anything I should worry about since I'm out of warranty?

Are you sure the cabin recirc isn't on... there is an auto feature for that...
