This is one of a kind rear-view mirror. Besides being just an awesome auto-dimming mirror , it also has a has a built-in Concealed Display for Valentine One radar detector. Plus, it is a colored concealed display for easier band identification. It is a very nice addition to a V1 setup that allows a very stealthy and clean install (on the pics you can see my V1 sitting in the back).

This is an auto-dimming mirror, it does not have a homelink, "clown nose" or compass functionality. Radar detector is not included.

This is a feeler. Asking for a fair offer.

Do you require a mirror as a core in trade? Can you supply supporting products to complete the install minus the V1?

I am selling the mirror with the concealed display built in. You will get the mirror that you see on the picture. No other hardware included. The mirror will have an additional 8-ft power cord that you will plug into V1 power outlet or hardwire adaptor. At this point I decided not to trade for another mirror as I have an extra one. Installation is basically plug and play, all you need is v1 radar detector with appropriate accessories.

What supporting products are you looking for?

I assumed this was the same kit that has the head rest mounted unit. I currently have no radar in my car so I'd need everything. I guess what I'm asking is what else do I need to buy to make this functional in my car?

All you need is the V1 radar detector with hadwire kit. If you buy new, it comes with it.

Optionally (recommended), you can get the remote audio controller to be able control the radar while it sits in some unreachable place.

There is no DIY for it. Did it on my own, experimenting with different mirrors. Ruined a CD and a couple of mirrors in the process

... Eventually found a solution, but not all mirror are compatible. So, its kinda hit or miss...
