Chamber plate settings on my way to the shop
I am going to install chamber plates in the next few weeks and I'm wondering where to set them while I drive to the shop for an alignment?
Or doesn't it matter much? |

Are you installing the camber plates yourself and then just driving the car to the shop to get the alignment done?
If that's the case just set them close to the "min" camber setting - it really doesn't matter if you're not going to put a lot of miles on the car before getting the alignment (however, using min camber setting should minimize any increase in toe out). Some plates have a hard stop at the "min" setting and others have a marking of some kind (e.g., "0", CL, etc). |

yup, not really a big deal. Just jack the car up and wrap your hand around the spring and pull it towards you until it stops. Tighten down the bolts (usually no more than 25 ft lbs) and lower the car down. As M3QRD stated, won't be a big deal if you're just driving a short distance to a shop.

Not sure what you mean about removing the shock? Most camber plates you do not need to remover anything to adjust camber. Just loosen the nuts (like in the picture below) at the top so the camber plate can 'slide' and set it where you want to, tighten nuts and you are good to go
