Congratulations OP on your newly purchase. Aside from other factors, simply for driving experience, the Cayman has to be one of the best cars out there. I like this cayman you bought more than the new one that just came out. For some reason, their new interior design just doesn't feel right to me.

Thanks! I prefer the 1st Gen Cayman as well. The new Cayman (981) is a great looking car and perhaps a more "modern" design, but the Gen 1 and 2 cars (987) have that classic Porsche silhouette, which I love!
