San Antonio - Help plan next BMW M&G - come to C&R Tomorrow (1/26)

If you'd like to help put together our next all-BMW Meet-and-Greet, come to C&R over at Blanco and 1604 tomorrow morning in the shopping center near the traffic circle. Starts at 0730, I'll be there at 0830, and we'd like to get your input as to when, where, and what we'll do. We also need more BMWs at the C&R events, so please do come out!

It's a CB E46 M3 lowered on zcps and some other mods. Keep an eye out for it

Good turnout this AM, unfortunately I was contacted by one of the organizers to spread the word and make sure everyone abide by the rules and keep this venue available & civilized. Apparently a couple of E92 M3's like mine decided they wanted to show off on their way out and got into a potential dangerous situation by speeding and putting others at danger. I am putting this statement out on behalf of the organizers since I had already departed and not a witness to the situation so please do not shoot the messenger... We are all out there to have a good time, plenty of people with their families and a very public/high traffic place so let's keep it safe!

I go to all the C&C in Texas, Dallas, Houston, Leander, Austin, and now its time to make a Trip to San Antonio. Keep a eye open for me

Guys - I'm still waiting for my F30 to be delivered (several days overdue now), but I got my E92 sold and was carless. The dealer said "come on up and we'll give you something to drive until yours shows up". I don't have pictures to post yet, but they gave me...a brand-new 2013 640i Gran Coupe', mineral white/cinnamon brown. How's THAT for a great dealership relationship?

You're telling me! I was blown away, figuring I'd get some E90 328i from the loaner fleet like I sometimes did when taking the previous E92 in for service. I may have mentioned to him that I am taking part in the BMW Corral at COTA this weekend and I am one of the lucky few who were given a "parade lap", and then I was moaning about not having anything to drive, etc. So a few minutes later he comes back with this mineral white GC and I said "ha-ha, very funny! Now, where's my real loaner?"...and he hands me the key and says "do us proud at the Corral". For one of the few times in my life, I was stunned speechless. The grin probably said it all. And...since that was in Austin and I live in Boerne, it was a VERY nice drive home!

Dang thing has more levers, buttons, screens and such than a 747, though. Not sure if I'll figure it all out before I have to give it back.
