PSS width when mounted...

I've been told that Michelin PSS' tend to run wider than norm...how much wider thou?

I'm running a set of 295/19/30 Yokohama AD08's on the back and have VERY minor rub when hitting bumps @ 80mph+ which I'm quite happy to live with. Question is, how much wider are the 295/19/30 PSS' mounted when compared to the AD08's?

not as wide. Ad08s are about as square shouldered as you get.

They mount as expected and have a semi sloping shoulder.

Agreed. Michelin ps2 and PSS have pretty much the most slope and rounded-ness to their sidewall, making it a popular choice for fender rubbing problems.

AD08 is very square shouldered. Will give the worst rubbing

They are pretty wide but I am not sure how it compares with the AD08's. I wish they came in 285's

You can get the exact tread width measuments off their website but they are measure with using their recommended rim width.

They run excatly 6 mm wider than Pzeros for OEM sized tires and ZCPs

I don't think so....
Before i had a set of PS2, and now i have a set of PSS,and the sidewall of the PSS is match more straighter than the PS2 and feels also tighter

The Michelin PS2 and PSS models in 295/30R19 tend to be a bit more substantial for their size compared to other tire models, likely because they are intented for Porsche vehicles with 11" rear wheels.

I know the AD08 is very wide and square but I wouldn't count on the PSS being easier to fit, i.e. less rubbing.

Let us know how it works out

Tuner1, the whole point of me posting was so I could avoid seeing how it would "work out" blindly

Garage List
PSS's will be a bit more forgiving than AD08s when it comes to sidewall (block vs rounded corners).

If you're clearing with a 295 AD08 already, you should be fine.
