stroker I checked is exactly $37k installed! still not cheap, but definitely less than $50k.

Even if you can get a stroker for 37k. Its makes much more sense to get a used S65, drop the compression and install ESS Supercharger. For sure under 20k.

Not if you try to trade-in your blown engine. You need to provide the core for the stroker. With the core provided the cost is around $25K without installation. If you have to provide an new engine for them to stroke you'll be looking at a massive bill.

A year ago BMW had suspected that metal had gotten into my engine as a result of a small accident that I was in lol... Anyway, my insurance company was going to pay for me to get the Dinan Stoker engine instead of a new replacement since the Dinan was a few thousand less than a new one... But after further testing, they determined that current engine was fine. I was kind of disappointed. I literally already had my name on a Dinan engine in the warehouse and it was ready to be shipped out... And you are correct, with a salvageable core, the Dinan engine was going to be about 25k.

I would have been at Home Depot in the section with the metal files. haha.

Sorry, but they lost me at Hennessey for this list.

I'd much rather have a stroked motor if money wasn't an issue.

They have some horrible cars in that list though. I'd take the Dinan, Brabus and GT..... the rest.

A dream of mine would be a stroked motor to 4.4 litre with new cams/lifters/springs to increase redline to 9k . A nice 550 horsepower in the m3 would be absolutely perfect
