Yowza! Top Fuel explosion
Current NHRA champ Antron Brown had a scary moment at the Winternationals. He walked away from it--good testament to modern safety design and equipment. That's a 300mph fireball!

Crazy stuff... My Fiance's uncle has a race team on the NHRA full throttle circuit.. he Runs Pro Stock (Ron Krisher) And following them around the country sometimes we get to see some of these crazy explosions and wrecks... It is actually surreal in person. there was a huge one here last year in Charlotte when they were in town.
