Cool Stud Kits - Apex or Turner or ?

I picked up a set of wheels and would like to run a stud conversion kit with lug nuts to ease swapping wheels, also the stud conversion looks better on the HRE R43.

I did a bit of research and it seems most people recommend Turner or Apex. I know Turner has a BMW racing background and I've only heard good things about their products. I plan to run the 75mm kit with small sized spacers (less than 12mm).

Any one have experience with any stud conversion kits and lugs that you would recommend?

We carry the Macht Schnell Competition Stud kits in stock and are local to you. Lots of forum members use these both on the street and track.

75mm would be good for a 12mm or smaller spacer. Any larger should be running 90mm.

Is it safe to use WD40 to remove surface rust on these studs?

Does anyone sell high quality chrome moly wheel studs?

Sure. I would then torch them to get the residual penetrant off so the loctite can properly cure when using again.

I also like the new Apex studs. I had a set of the older Apex studs with my e46 M3 with no issues.

I forgot which company had studs that were breaking.

+1 for Apex. The redesigned studs are great. I'm on my second set on my dual duty car (it is recommended to change the studs out every track season, I'm sure there was nothing wrong with the first set)

The Turner studs are made by ARP so there shouldn't be any concerns with quality.

Currently have MS 15mm spacers in the front & back so I'm also running the MS 90mm studs. No complaints.

Now a slightly on, but off topic question. I have 4 Apex Arc-8's in 19x9.5 ET22. Not exactly sure what tires I'll be mounting... BUT, with that wheel setup, What would be good spacers to run to have me sit flush (My 15/15 setup w stock 220's is perfect in my opinion)? I'm also going to be lowering a bit on KW H.A.S's. Recommendations?

Broke an apex stud in under a year on track car. Had to drill out. Maybe new ones are better.

I have a set of the motorsport hardware, very happy with them. If I could get my hands on an OE BMW GTS set, I'd happily pay for them.

I purchased both sets from different forum members who decided not to convert. Then I just sold the other half on this forum about 2 weeks ago? Where were you? You will basically have to buy 2 full sets unless the vendor is willing to mix the set for you.

Dammit!!! Hahaha totally missed it. On the apex website you can but individuals a few dollars more expensive to do that though
