Anyone still use an ipod classic in their M3 with the 6FL option? charging issues...

So the issue I had a year ago came back, I guess once in a while when you get out of the car and even lock it, the car's cpu doesn't disconnect the ipod so it basically stays on (with the screen on too) and therefore drains the battery. 95%+ of the time it disconnects properly and turns off by itself after the car is turned off and doors are locked...I'm trying to figure out why this problem happens sometimes though, anyone else experienced it?

The most recent software update a few weeks ago resolved many many iPod classic problems for me, though I have not seen the particular bug you describe. I have had the classic freeze up with the BMW logo on it, while not showing up on the devices list. Typically when I've switched to another device. It requires a hard reset then.
