2008 BMW M3  [0.00]
the 1M is still a 1er inside, and to me, it was full of fisher price plastic and no where near the quality of the 3, let alone the M parts within. Your choice but for me, I'd do the M3 easily, it's a different beast, you'll feel like you've lost the bottom end in terms of power, but the M3 keeps on pulling .....

as much as i love my E92 M3... with this choice.. keep yours.. 2012 to 2008 i dont know...

hard choice... if your going to switch... then i suggest get a 2010 or 11..

also im not sure if your into sunroof but i suggest to get the cf roof..

I'm going from a 135 vert with Dinan Stage II to an M. Since you have a 1M, it should be worth much more than a 2008 M3. Depending on what shape it's in, you're closer to a 2010, but shoot for a 2011.

I agree. More leases are coming to an end and there are more used M3's hitting the market. Prices should also drop in anticipation of the 2014 M3. Get a good one so you don't regret your choice.

When buying a used M3: check the black skirts under the front bumper for damage. I just had all of that stuff replaced and it cost ~ $500 for 2 skirts, oil cooler protector, and 1 air inlet duct to oil cooler.

I agree. It seems they really did what a lot of people complained/asked for with the 1M. The 1 is all about re living the past (E30 M3) and lacks the a balance of high quality interior and other bits to go along with its incredible performance attributes. Would be the most amazing track rat tho

Seeing how exclusive the 1M is, I believe I'd stick with it, especially over an 08. Nothing against the 08, but I think only 1800 1M's were imported to North America.. They are sky-high in resale value.

oh... if you then want the cf roof... you can alwasy buy one at IND and have it installed. will cost you 3k though... even with that the rest you can get more mods...

SHIT DO IT but only if it is 27k back..
