Mirror Caps

I posted this on another forum, hoping someone here might know...
I have a 2013 M3 and was looking to purchase another set of mirror caps...gloss black...A fellow member was going to sell me his, but then I was told from BMW parts that from 3/2010 and up would be the fitment for my car. Does this seem right? I thought from 08+ they all should fit?

Anyone know for sure on fitment?

I called 3 dealers and all said same thing. Crazy

3/10 is around when the MY11's came out. I'm not aware of any change to the mirrors.
