Just joined, new M3 owner. Santorini blue

Hi all, I just joined this site having purchased a brand new coupe just 3 weeks ago. 400 miles to go until I reach the 1200 mile oil changes. I'm loving this car already.
It's an invidivual spec with competition pack, DCT and finished in Santorini blue with satin wheels. All other usual chrome parts are smoked. There are only 30 in uk with this colour scheme..

Seems a great community on here and I love the modifications on the US cars

I've just found that my ipad is not compatible with attaching pictures on here so I will upload some images from my PC later on..

Thanks for comments. I was all set to by a used mineral white example with a view to adding carbon front and rear spoilers but it sold on the day I went to negotiate. After a bit of haggling I ended up with this..

. Was never a fan of black wheels but they've really grown on me now.

I traded in my 5 yr old B7 RS4 saloon for this. I'd had that for almost 3 years. Whilst it was a great machine I never 100% gelled with the handling. In my view the steering needed a quicker rack and the suspension was too soft. You had to grab it by the balls to drive hard.
I wanted something that I could go out on a weekend for some fun down the lanes. The M3 is ticking all my boxes so far..

I'm not really one to tinker but I think it could do with a front splitter. I've seen some really nice ones on here. I also love some of the carbon rear diffuser and boot spoilers.

i'd say he's referring to that blue masking tape some people use on track days to cover / protect their front bumpers, which i think is a little exaggerated, as this color looks stunning !

...commonly referred to as painter's tape-not masking tape.
