FYI: A free software update will add CAN interception technology - this module can be used to validate VIN handshake, which is needed for iDrive retrofits (CCC to CIC).

No, it will just let you have DVD playback while you are driving.

Yes, it works with E60, as long as you have CIC unit.

2010 Models have CIC unit (2nd gen iDrive system)

Yes on CIC Navi, but you will already need a unit that has voice control activated.
