Thankfully, mine came without, otherwise I would have had to remove the piston side clips.

I wish! I won't be there until BMWCCA runs it in June. Have fun!

When you receive the pads can you post whether or not they have clips? I've heard conflicting things on other forums as well. Thanks ...

Yes I will post pics when they come in to confirm. I will also post the pics of my current ones with the clips.

Just changed to another set of 08's and the fronts had clips on both in and out pads. The rears only have clips on the piston side.

After 3 days and about 350 track miles, I was able to kill the front left PFC08's. I think this is a record. Now it's time to decide whether to cool the stock equipment or spend for a BBK.

Wow. In three days. I had them on for a weekend track event(two days) when the temp is around 85. And I still got more than half left. May I ask where did you get your pads? Mine never came with clips.

The set I received (with clips) came from apexperformance (dot) net. I wonder if the set you have without clips was old stock, v.1, or something ....

IMO, the stock system just doesn't hold for advanced drivers.

I got my pads from OGRacing. The best place to buy safety stuff!

Looks like they were exposed to very extreme heat. Keep them cool will prevent this from happening again.

Hi, Harold
the PFC08 you guys carry right now has clips or not? The one I got from you did not have it.

I may have you beat. I have burned out a set of Pagid 19s on OEM rotors/calipers in one day at Laguna Seca. I am running R888s, which probably didn't help. But I also burned through CarboTech XP-12s in one day as well when running the RE-11s.

As far as ducting is concerned, tried that too. No noticeable improvement. Routing the ducting isn't easy, and my DIY probably isn't the most efficient. But I still get tons of pinging after a session--the same amount without the ducting.

Harold, I ordered my second set of PFC 08's from you last month, and finally got around to inspecting them (the first set is still doing fine as the only modification to my 2012 M3).

I noted that the pads don't seem to match up...fronts or rears...here are the photos...tell me if they are correct.

Here are the rears....

And here are the fronts...

Obviously, I'm only showing half of the fronts and half of the rears, but the set seems mismatched.
