$59k for 2011 ZCP with 12k miles - good price?

Pretty much fully loaded. Unique color combo on the inside.

Thoughts? Price point?

Garage List
2012 E92 M3  [5.00]
Seems a little high. I think the price should be somewhere between 55K and 57K for a 2011. If you are considering purchasing an M3 I would visit the classified section of this forum. There are a lot of members selling 2011s. Some are in the low 50s. Other members have posted 2012s in the 60K-62K range. Unless this car is certified I would keep looking.

Best of luck.

^^^ I was thinking $55k ish, myself...Nice car...If you like the interior, that is. I can't quite get there, personnally.

Edit: Is the dash etc. being red part of the extended Fox Red Novillo, does anyone know?

yes that's extended leather

55k max IMO, but it's in CA so they usually pay a little more

If your going to spend this kind of money on a car, then I'd try sticking with a BMW dealer or a one owner private party. Reason is, you know very little about the background of the car and you need a reasonable amount of assurance that your getting a good M3. It's very likely this car, on a used car lot, was bought at auction and auction cars are usually there because they were a selling problem for someone.
At the very least, I suggest you take the vin to a BMW dealer to see if he can track some of the history of the car. When you are satisfied there, then do some research on the background of the dealer. Make sure you want to do business with him (or her).
Good luck with it.

For what it's worth... was negotiating a deal for a <13K mile black on black E90 2011.0 fully loaded with DCT and got them down to 53.6K before I decided to hold off for personal reasons. It was listed at 57K.

You have to be very careful with the history as stated earlier. ALOT of the fully loaded 11s that are coming up for sale via dealers are BMW demo cars which were used at their various drive programs and have had damage done (which was repaired), marked as ineligible for CPO in BMW's database, and generally treated pretty bad. All this adds up to potential issues with the car in the future, and not worth it imho, especially when paying this much...
