5 series M-Sport Wheels on M3? Winter set up

Will BMW OEM Style 135 size 8Jx18 ET20 (off a 2010 535i M/Sport) with 245-40R18 winter tires fit correctly on my 2011 m3? I'm currently running the stock 220M 19s (no ZCP).

I don't know anything about spacers, offsets, etc. I'm just wondering if these will bolt right on without issue and not look ridiculous. Also, will the 2010 TPMS off the 5 series work equally well on the 2011 m3?

They'll bolt up, but you'll want spacers on the rear at least. Those are the BMW OEM winter wheel specs but honestly the rears are way too inset compared to the fender. I have 18x8 et20 with 245/48/18 and added 12mm spacer to the rear and it is much better. I would definitely go with 15mm though if I had to buy again. Fronts could benefit from 10-12mm.

No spacer:

Just as Transfer stated, the 18x8et20 is the OEM M3 winter wheel size (style 270M). BMW recommends a 235/40 square tire setup but you'll be fine with 245/40 tires (I'm running a staggered 235/40 and 255/40 setup). As for appearance, that's up to you but I agree with Transfer...you should run spacers to push the 8et20 wheels out to at least the stock frontspacing.
