Branded/ lemon title

Hi guys. In these day I found a really nice Fully loaded E92 A/W M3. I test the car, everything I am satisfied with. Only problem are tires are not good and branded title. It's 43k miles 09 car. No dent, how much I should offer him? I think market value for clean title car around 42k. Thanks all guys. Merry Christmas.

Stay away. Branded titles are trouble. Way too many Unknowns. The seller will not tell you the whole story. One the story that helps him close the deal. with branded cars you could have a flooded car. Tons of electrical issues. No warranty.
Accident repaired car . It's a 50 50 chance on those. The extent of damage is in question. If you can get the pic before repair was done, then you can estimate on the type of damage sustained. In many cases even after the car has been repaired there are possible issues with alignment, uneven tire wear, rust, and the integrity of the subframe. I remember hearing a story of a car literally breaking in half after being involved In a collision due to improper subframe cutting and welding work. keep in mind all these cars will pass safety and emmisions and are bargains at times but at what price.

+100. It was bad enough to have a branded title, that means the chances that car will be "right" is highly unlikely. Stay away, it's not worth the unknown headaches and costs.

$42k for an 09 with 43k miles and a lemon title??? Seems high and I would stay away regardless....

Thanks for all your guys. This car not sell 42k. It's about 38k. It shows non accident on record. But didn't show what the problem was.

Usually when something is too good to be true, it isn't. Just saying. But hey, if you're sure the guy is trustworthy, go ahead and buy it.

I'd roll the dice on a cheap beater car for like 5k but not on something over 35k with expensive repairs AND German "reliability" lol

nothing for nothing... a battery issue typical would not yield a branded title....i would pass.

Get him down closer to 30K and I would consider it. 32-33K is fair for a branded title. I would recommend you take it to a decent independent german shop and have them do a complete inspection.

If he owned the car since new he should have some documentation from BMW on why the car was lemoned.
