Trade in for m3

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone traded their new BMW (x3,x5,x6) for a used m3? I am looking to lower my monthly payments.

May wanna think this one through little more as you'll have to factor in total monthly cost of ownership, not just the monthly payment. To get cheaper/older m3 you'll have less warranty left if any and significantly higher maintenance costs, higher insurance premiums and fuel costs, etc...

True but I won't be driving the car much, maybe 100 miles a month.

The guy I bought my M3 from had a brand new X5 on lease. The X5 is pretty sick too.

I think it's better to buy a slightly newer M3 that is still under warranty.

op, were you just trying to trade straight across? I'm sure you could get a good amount for a new(er) X3 which could get you into an 09-10, not straight though.

X5 are nice. But your o to 60 will suffer !
