The noise coming from the F80 M3 is probably recorded and playing through the new M exhaust speakers which will cost you $2,200.

Yeah, seems like it (silver CF hood). Actually this was an industry testing track session...perhaps bringing out the CRT E90 M3 as the testing benchmark for the F80?
